A blog

it was actually 2 of them.... ROOK with 8500 health at level 9 and a UB with around 7000 .... rook was one/two shotting with his hammer for 1500-3000+ dmg (after a rock stun)

Full citidel upgrades too....

I guess the thing that worries me is when people stop being so obvious about it.... I play demigod 2-4 games a day, but after this game i decided to play street fighter 4 instead

Will this ever be fixed?

-------------

UPDATE:

i watched the replay, the game was 3v3 map cataract

The 2 players in question were named KyKy (rook) and Bronnieman (ub)

Unfortunately the replay dies early and shows no player stats.

Sort of.

Edit:  http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=405375

Can't vouch for this though.

the game is free from hacker because of the p2p connection but it does not mean someone can't exploit a game mechanic. Just think of the buy/resell tactic.

If someone found a glitch in the game then it may be exploited without causing a desync... because the glitch would be present on everyone's version of the game

Yes.

ZOMG I just played against a cheater... he killed me. Must of been cheating, because I am un-killable.

Props for the funnehz.

And I doubt the P2P thing is going to keep hackers out for long. I don't know how the code works other than it is P2P, but I do know that hackers are ingenious people and have slowly degraded the PC gaming community by messing up almost every game. Name a game, and if the hackers haven't gotten to it then it is because they haven't tried.

If I remember correctly (from reading that post a week or so ago) you can only grab the most recent game's replay by this method unless you have renamed/moved them.

I am still baffled by the lack of screen shot support in this game, let alone replays.

this man  is correct, +1

the first thing that came to my mind was that it was a map that had two +15% health flags on it. if a team controlled both they would have +30% health, a huge amount.

if your base health pool was 6000 (its alot but its still easily achievable with health items) and two health flags under your control then you would have 7800 health.

Maybe someone could tell us what map he played on so we could figure out if that's even possible. All we've heard is two guys cheated. I'm not saying whoever it was didn't somehow exploit the game, but we have no map to go off of, no idea what type of game it was (2v2, 3v3), nothing. Just that the OP said two guys were cheating.

doesn't exist i think

edit: actually, after giving it some thought, it might as well exist^^

i know off hand that Exile has two health flags. there may be other maps that do as well.

Update: I tried out the method outlined in that post that I linked to.

It works... but only a little. There is no HUD. No chat log. Nothing fancy. The particular replay that I was watching (an epic 4v4 that I just got out of... Loads of fun) only got about halfway through before it got funky and I had to close it down.
